Foxes PE Sessions

This year PE will be on Thursday afternoons with Miss Keeping and Friday mornings with Mrs Shone.

Forest School

This year our Forest School session will be on Friday afternoons. However, we visit the woodland area EVERYDAY so please leave your wellies, waterproofs and warm clothes in school.

Home Learning

We want to encourage children in Foxes to enjoy sharing books with adults every day. This helps to develop a love of reading and supports the development of key skills. As the children move onto reading word books themselves, we ask that they aim to read for ten minutes a day. We recognise that tiredness is an issue when children start school, so please feel confident in your decision to not listen to your child read on some days, but instead snuggle up and enjoy a bedtime story together.

When required, the children may be sent home with sounds to learn, and then in Year 1 spellings. Please note that this will differ to take into account each child’s individual needs.
